Invitation à participer à la remise de chèque Alpe d'HuZes 2010

L'année 2010 sera sûrement à nouveau une année formidable pour l'événement Alpe d'HuZes. Nous allons encore nous surpasser dans tous les domaines, également grâce à votre soutien. Le samedi 9 octobre 2010, le montant de la récolte définitive de l'action 2010 sera dévoilé au sein du Théâtre Luxor à Rotterdam, aux Pays-Bas.

Par la présente, nous tenons déjà à vous inviter à partager ce moment merveilleux avec nous. Nous saisirons cette occasion pour vous montrer les résultats de nos efforts de cette année. Vous pourrez profiter des animations qui seront proposées et vous assisterez à la remise du livre annuel sur l'événement Alpe d'HuZes 2010. Mais l'événement phare de la journée sera, bien évidemment, la remise de chèque de la part de l'Association Alpe d'HuZes à l'Association néerlandaise de lutte contre le cancer KWF.

Alpe d'HuZes

In the fight against cancer, both patients and their loved ones feel a huge sense of helplessness. Cancer is everywhere. Fighting it seems pointless. One in three Dutch people develop cancer. Everyone involved has firsthand experience of how dramatically their lives are affected and how destructive it can be. Alpe d'HuZes was created with the aim to empower people to convert the sense of powerlessness, caused by cancer, into one of strength. We achieve this by motivating as many people as possible to constantly challenge and expand their boundaries. Alpe d'HuZes wants to raise funds to fight cancer by cycling up the Alpe d'Huez six times in one day. The name, Alpe d'Huzes, is a combination of the Dutch word for "six" and the name of the mountain. Alpe d'HuZes is founded on the absolute belief that you can attain the greatest possible satisfaction if you put your heart and soul into helping others. In memory of those who died too young of cancer and to inspire those who are fighting it. Our motto is "Never, ever quit!" We refuse to accept any limitations in what we can and will achieve. What is our goal? Alpe d'HuZes will always appeal to those who share our belief to push their limits. Whether canvassing for sponsors, cycling the famous Alpe d'Huez, organizing a massive event without spending any money, or creating a medical program that will revolutionise health care, they are willing to go where no one has gone before.

Each victory, however unrealistic it seemed at first, motivates us to continue to push the limits and set higher targets. We do this not for ourselves, but for those who truly need it. "After all, only a fool blows against the wind, but together we can change its course." Our dream is for cancer to evolve from a deadly disease into a chronic illness. We want to support cancer patients so that each one has the opportunity to lead a happy and healthy life in harmony with cancer. Besides, everybody can experience an ultimate feeling of happiness, by giving the best you can for others. Everyone who has taken part in Alpe d'HuZes events, knows what that feeling is and what it means. It is the drive that realises our dreams. We have a mission: To facilitate and inspire people to lead Happy and Healthy lives in Harmony with cancer.

L'épreuve 2010...

L’épreuve 2010

Cette année, c’est la date du 3 juin 2010 qui a été retenue. Les 2000 participants attendus graviront plusieurs fois la mythique montée au départ du village de Bourg d’Oisans. Avec 7.000.000 € rassemblés en 2009, l’objectif 2010 est de passer la barrière des 10.000.000 €.

Alpe d’Huzes 2010

Dit jaar vindt Alpe d’Huzes op donderdag 3 juni plaats. Meer dan 2000 goedgetrainde deelnemers binden gezamenlijk de strijd aan tegen kanker en zullen meerdere malen de beproevingen van de beklimming van Alpe d’Huez ondergaan.

In 2009 is 5.850.000 Euro opgehaald voor het kankerfonds.

De lat voor 2010 ligt op 10.000.000 Euro……..

 Jan Verhagen est l’interlocuteur et le représentant officiel de la manifestation Alpe d’Huzes à Bourg d’Oisans. Habitant Bourg d’Oisans depuis 2004 et est père de 2 enfants, de nationalité hollandaise, propriétaire gestionnaire du restaurant la Romanche situé au centre du village, Jean assure depuis 2006 la mission de coordination entre le KWF et les pouvoirs publics, services et organismes locaux.

Jan Verhagen is sinds 2006 de locale contactpersoon en intermediair in Bourg d’Oisans van Alpe d’Huzes. Jan woont sinds 2004 in Nederland met zijn gezin en is eigenaar van restaurant La Romanche dat gelegen is in het centrum van het dorp.

Jan is aanspreekpersoon voor wat betreft Alpe d’Huzes en verzorgt de contacten tussen de stichting Alpe d’Huzes in Nederland en de locale instanties.
